Volunteer Opportunities

We believe that the greatest way to have an impact on others is by serving others. We encourage everyone to get involved in an area of service and welcome all talents. It takes many hands to run Pentecostal Tabernacle. Whether you teach Sunday School or operate a camera, we have an opportunity for you to get involved.

All skills can be used. Whether you are a Partner, WatchCare or a regular attendee, there are volunteer opportunities where you can serve.

Children’s Worship

Thank you for your interest in Pentecostal Tabernacle’s Children’s Worship Ministry, which serves children of PT and the community! We provide a nursery for young children of ages 0-4 during the 8:30 and 11:00 services, and Sunday school classes for children age 4 through high school age from 9:45-10:45 on Sunday mornings. Following is a list of positions in which you might wish to serve:

• Nursery Assistant (during 8:30 and/or 11:00 services) – serving on alternate weeks
• Sunday School Assistant (for children age 4 through grade 5) – serving on alternate weeks
• Middle school substitute teacher (grades 6-8) – serving as the need arises
• High school substitute teacher (grades 9-12) – serving as the need arises

If you are a PT Partner (member), we welcome you to apply as a volunteer in our ministry. All applicants for the Children’s Worship Ministry at PT will be asked to provide two references and submit to a CORI check as part of their application. Click here to access our online form.

This application is to be completed in full – If you don’t complete the application in one sitting (about 15-20 minutes), the information cannot be saved and you will need to start over. Please gather the following information: one form of ID, two personal references and information on prior church affiliations. Information will be treated as confidential and is needed to help us provide a safe environment for children who participate in our programs and use our facilities.
