Meet the Staff

Program Director

Tara Edelschick

Tara Edelschick

Tara Edelschick graduated college with a Materials Engineering degree, only to find out she hated being an engineer. She taught high school in New York City for eight years, taking a year off in the middle to her Masters in Education at Harvard. Eventually, she returned to Harvard and earned a doctorate in education. While she was at Harvard, she met Jeff, got married, and had two kids. These days she is the Program Director for YES, home-schools her two sons, tries to keep up with the dozens of overnight guests who come through her house each year, and wonders what God is going to do next for kids and families in Area 4 of Cambridge!
